WEEK 1

Glass Bottle, Pedal and Chair

This was the first time using (and learning) Blender software. I had a lot of struggle, but could finish the bottle task. I tried to focus on the proportions and overall shape.

On the pedal I guess I could improved a little bit, as I tried to work a bit more on the details of it.

For the free image reference, I used a simple chair. Since I was focusing on the size and perspectives of the modelling based on the image, it would be easier to do and practice with something simple.

WEEK 2

Gimli`s axe

For this axe I tried to keep it simple as well, focusing on the shape of it, and some other details, such as the cuts on the blades.

WEEK 3

Gimli`s axe (texture painted)

The painting process looks a bit more intuitive of everything so far, since the texture paint tools are a little bit easier to use as well the process itself.  I used 3 types of texture for painting the axe: metal, brown leather and golden wood with engraved black details.

WEEK 4

Firefly Revolver

For the Firefly revolver, I tried to keep the gun as most real as possible. To have good results, I use the smear, most of the time for mixing the wood grain texture with the metal one, to came up with an old tone of metal for the material of the gun. I also used the leather texture for the grip and with the soft tool, could make it more smooth through to the gun body.
